Congyu E is a producer best known for her work on the hit SEARCHING franchise, which debuted at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and went on to gross over $75 million worldwide. A proven leader in the creative environments, Congyu has amassed 17 feature and television credits, many of which premiered at prestigious film festivals including Sundance, Tribeca and SXSW. Her other notable projects include MISSING (Sony), JAGGED MIND (Hulu) and THINK LIKE A DOG (Lionsgate).

Beyond narrative filmmaking, Congyu brings exciting ideas to life as a Production Supervisor across commercials and branded content, collaborating with global brands such as Meta and Marriott Bonvoy.

Born and raised in China, Congyu spent her high school years on the coast of Maine before moving to Los Angeles to study at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Outside of work, Congyu can be found on the trails, in a yoga studio, or practicing her swing dance moves.
